Where should I place the roll-off container?

The roll-off dumpster container can be placed in your driveway, out in the street, or elsewhere outside your residence. It depends on the municipality rules governing your area, so check with them first before placing it outside.

How different is a roll-off container from a dumpster?

The terms “roll-off container” and “roll-off dumpster” can be used interchangeably.  Both are used to collect wastes in a office settings, residential settings, and any construction setting where wastes need to be collected and hauled away.

How do I go about ordering a dumpster rental?

How long can I keep the dumpster?

While this depends on the duration of the project, Big Red Box can make an allowance for you and issue you a quote that suits your desired duration. The payment for these kinds of situation may vary, but the services continue to be hassle-free.

Is there a risk of the dumpster damaging my lawn?

A dumpster definitely poses a risk to your lawn if placed directly on the ground, but this can easily be avoided by placing some sort of plywood or other protective gear before the dumpster arrives so that you place the wheels above the plywood. This should be taken care of simply; especially because the owner is directly responsible for any damage caused to their lawn or driveway by a dumpster.  Our representatives can assist you in the different ways you can go about protecting your yard.

What are the payment options?

In order to have your roll-off dumpster delivered promptly, payments are made through credit card including Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

Is there an emergency dumpster service?

Emergency dumpster services are offered but it’s a matter of availability.  Give us a call and we will assist you in getting your dumpster delivered as soon as possible.

Do I have to be present when the dumpster is delivered?

Not necessarily. However, if you have some specific requirements on the placement of the dumpster then it may be necessary for you to be around when the driver pulls in so you can guide him where you would like your dumpster.

How much weight can I put in a roll-off container?

Roll-off containers do have their limits in terms of weight, and in fact they have a fill line, which should never be exceeded.  Also note that heavy materials such as concrete may create a problem when filled up in the container, even if below the fill line. Certain weights should be exceeded because they pose a danger to traffic. Therefore before throwing in any concrete, you should review the weight limits of your specific size dumpster rental.

What if I change the location of an already purchased order?

Should you choose to change a location you should give us a call immediately so we can be sure your dumpster is delivered to the correct address.  Be sure to have information regarding the order on-hand to aid this process. The order itself must be done a minimum of 24 hours before the previously agreed date, in order to allow enough processing.

What happens when the driver shows up for the removal of the dumpster but it’s not ready to be emptied?

Should you need the dumpster for a longer duration, you should give us a call so that we can extend the duration.  Additional charges may occur and some charges can be avoided if you request an extension well ahead of time.

Is there anything I’m not allowed to throw in the dumpster?

Most dumpster rental services dictate that any hazardous materials do not be disposed in the roll-off dumpsters.  Hazardous materials include:
